Association players are game for inaugural Congressional Shoot-Out Rob Green admits to having a love-hate relationship with golf, but June 23 was a lovely day to appreciate the game, network and contribute to a good cause. Rob Green (left) played on a shoot-out team with Stewart Verdery, founder of Monument Policy Group. Green, executive director of the National Council of Chain Restaurants, was one of about 140 golfers—including association executives, members of Congress and lobbyists—participating in the inaugural NGS Golf Digest Congressional Shoot-Out.
